Registration Information

Registration and Payment

The full registration fee includes admission to all oral and poster sessions, exhibits, town hall meetings, ancillary meetings and workshops (unless by invitation only or otherwise specified), the Sunday evening welcome reception, Thursday evening event and poster receptions, daily lunches, coffee breaks, program book, and electronic access to the 2016 ICRS abstracts and conference proceedings. Optional events such as any special organized activities, workshops for which there an applicable fee, and field trips are not included.

Single-day registrations are not applicable if you have submitted an abstract and will be presenting at the meeting.

Dietary Requirements

Printed Conference Program

To promote green practices, copies of the printed conference program will be available only upon request. The conference program also will be produced in a downloadable format and will be available on the Web site prior to the meeting as well.

Guest/Social Registration

Spouse and guest fees cover only the conference social events such as the Sunday welcome reception, Thursday evening event, coffee services, and the poster receptions. Optional events such as any special activities are not included. However, spouses and guests are encouraged to register for the special activities. Spouses and guests cannot be admitted to the sessions without paying the appropriate full registration fee.

Mentor/Mentee Dinner, Dessert, or Drinks

A mentoring event for undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs will be offered during the meeting. Those who sign up for this event will be matched with an experienced scientist or other professional who can help participants enhance their meeting experience and extend their professional network. Mentors will be matched with several mentees based on shared interests. The mentor/mentee group will have the opportunity to socialize over an informal dinner and/or drinks at a local establishment. This event will be held early in the week to facilitate networking during the rest of the conference.

Abstract I.D. Number

If you are unsure about your Abstract I.D., contact the conference management office at 254-776-3550 by phone or at via e-mail for assistance. Leave blank if you are registering to attend, not participate, in the meeting, or if you are registering prior to submitting an abstract.

Even though you may be one of several authors of a paper; if you did NOT submit the abstract, please leave the Abstract ID field empty.

Optional Activity Sign Up: Scientific Field Trips and Excursions

A limited number of optional activities including scientific field trips and excursions are offered at These require sign up in advance and involve additional costs in order to participate.
