The Bahia Hotel is the site for all of the Sea Grant Program meetings and sessions.

Airport Shuttle Service & Taxi Information

Cloud Nine Shuttle, which picks up outside the baggage claim area, can take you directly to your hotel. A shuttle runs every 20 minutes and there is a special one-way fare of $12 to The Bahia for Sea Grant 2007 participants. Please mention "special Sea Grant meeting rate" when purchasing tickets.

The hotel is about 12 miles from the airport A taxi will cost about $25.

Directions from San Diego Airport

Distance: 6.7 miles. Approximate Travel Time: 14 mins.

1. Start out going northwest on TERMINAL 1 towards AIRPORT EXIT by turning right.
2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto TERMINAL 2. 
3. Stay straight to go onto TERMINAL 2. 
4. Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT EXIT. 
5. Turn RIGHT onto N HARBOR DR.
6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NIMITZ BLVD.
7. NIMITZ BLVD. becomes SUNSET CLIFFS BLVD. 
8. SUNSET CLIFFS BLVD. becomes SEA WORLD DR. 
9. Take the W MISSION BAY DR ramp towards INGRAHAM STREET. 
10. Merge onto W MISSION BAY DR. 
11. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ramp. 
12. Merge onto W MISSION BAY DR.
13. Continue following the signs on W MISSION BAY DR until you go around the loop.
14. After the loop, the hotel is at the second traffic light on your right.

Directions from LA

Follow I-5 south to San Diego. Exit on Sea World Dr and turn right. Just past the entrance to Sea World you will see signs for West Mission Bay Dr. Take that exit. Continue following the signs until you go around the loop. After the loop, the hotel is at the second traffic light on your right.
