The Bahia Hotel is the site for all of the Sea Grant Program meetings and sessions.

A block of rooms is being held for this event at a rate of $131.00 per night for a single, $151.00 per night for a double, $171.00 per night for a triple, and $191.00 per night for a quad.  The cut-off date for making reservations at these rates is August 29, 2007. Attendees should contact the Bahia Hotel to book rooms at 800-576-4229.

Update: Bahia Hotel Rooms Are Filling Up.

Effective Monday, August 20, 2007, the Bahia Hotel has filled all of their sleeping rooms for Saturday, September 29, 2007 and only have a small number left for Friday (Sept. 28) and Wednesday (Oct. 3).

We are asking your assistance in reducing the cost for the meeting by helping to accumulate as many room nights as possible at the Bahia. In meeting this end, if you require the Saturday night stay, please reserve a room at a nearby hotel and then return to the Bahia for the remainder of your stay. Currently, we have been promised the government rate at a nearby hotel, the Dana Inn. Their phone number is: 1-800-Dana Inn. (1-800-326-2466).

Overnight guest parking is complimentary.

Standard amenities in every room include:  HBO, AM/FM radio, coffeemaker, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, signature bath supplies, and complimentary high-speed Internet access.  In-room dining is also available.

There is a restaurant and a lounge located in the Hotel.  The Caf Bahia offers Southern California Cuisine and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cocktails and lighter fare are served in the Tangier Lounge where you can also enjoy the piano and fireplace.
