Common Issues/Questions
What's the difference between the NABS web site, benthos.org and NABS Membership Services?
The NABS web site, benthos.org, is the main NABS web presence including society, taxonomic certification, student and outreach information. The NABS web site is also the home of the annual meeting web site and includes its own members only section and online publication access.
The NABS Membership Services web site (this site) is for membership application and maintenance The Membership Services site is the home of the NABS Business Office which handles all customer service inquires for the North American Benthological Society.
How do I update my membership information?
NABS members may log into their membership account at https://www.sgmeet.com/nabs/logon.asp where they can manage their mailing, contact and career information.
Lost Login/Password Information
If you have misplaced your log-in credentials for either benthos.org or NABS Membership Services, please use the password retrieval tool by providing your e-mail address.
Many people have multiple, active e-mail addresses, so if you have trouble with the password retrieval tool, please contact Member Services at 254-399-9636 by phone or via e-mail at nabs@sgmeet.com.
I've joined NABS or renewed membership online, but did not receive an e-mail confirmation.

On-line Access to JNABS
The Journal of the North American Benthological Society (J-NABS), is available online for all NABS individual society members and to institutional subscribers.
NABS receives income when J-NABS articles are downloaded through the BioOne web site, but not when they are accessed directly from AllenPress. If your institution/library subscribes to BioOne, please use BioOne to access articles published during the last three years.

If you do not have access to BioOne, you may access the current back issues of J-NABS through the AllenPress. Access JNABS 2000-present at AllenPress
Older J-NABS issues are available through JSTOR.
