  • NEAR can be used to find a keyword in close proximity to another. (industry NEAR professionals)
  • All the different tenses of a verb or both the singular and plural forms of a noun return identical results. (work, working or professional, professionals)
  • Noise words (a, is, the, which) are discarded from the search criteria. They can occur frequently but do not really help when searching for specific text.
  • Punctuation and special characters ( >, <, /, !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, =, :, ;, ", ', {, }, [, ], ?, \, | ) are not permitted.
  • Prefixes may be used as keywords if they are contained in quotes with an asterisk("tex*")
  • Special characters which are included in keywords must be contained in quotes("A&M")
  • If an error message is displayed, use you browser's "back" button to return and submit a refined query. .
